Question 1

How much does it cost to start a NEMT business?

Accepted Answer

Most new non-emergency medical transportation businesses launch with $25,000–$50,000 in startup capital. That typically covers entity formation, state and local permits, commercial auto and liability insurance ($8K–$15K/yr is common), one accessible vehicle (purchased or financed), basic dispatch tools, and working capital for the first few months before Medicaid reimbursements start arriving. The course includes a full cost breakdown so you can plan around your specific market.

Question 2

How long does it take to start a NEMT business in Texas?

Accepted Answer

With the right roadmap, most operators can complete Texas entity formation, obtain required permits, secure commercial insurance, and submit Medicaid/MCO applications within 60–90 days. The longest step is usually Medicaid enrollment and MCO contracting, which is why the course focuses heavily on avoiding the common application mistakes that cause 3–6 month delays.

Question 3

Do I need a Medicaid contract to operate a NEMT business?

Accepted Answer

No — you can run a private-pay NEMT business without a Medicaid contract. But Medicaid transportation contracts are how most NEMT operators reach consistent, recurring trip volume. The course walks through both paths: how to start with private-pay and facility contracts, and how to layer in Medicaid/MCO contracts as you grow.

Question 4

What vehicles qualify for non-emergency medical transportation?

Accepted Answer

Most NEMT operators start with an ambulatory minivan or an ADA-compliant wheelchair-accessible van. Vehicle requirements vary by state and by MCO, but generally include passenger capacity standards, accessibility features (ramps or lifts for wheelchair service), inspection records, and proper commercial insurance. Module 4 of the course covers exactly which vehicle profile fits your target contract type.

Question 5

Is this just information I can find on YouTube?

Accepted Answer

No. YouTube has scattered tips. This is a complete A-Z system in the right order, with Texas-specific templates, contracts, and checklists you can't find anywhere else.

Question 6

Will this work outside of Texas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. About 80% of the content applies nationwide — entity setup, insurance, Medicaid contracting strategy, vehicle selection, hiring, dispatch, and billing. Module 1 covers Texas specifics, and we show you exactly how to adapt the licensing steps for your state.

Question 7

Do I need vehicles before starting the course?

Accepted Answer

No — and buying a vehicle before you have a contract lined up is one of the most expensive mistakes new NEMT operators make. The course teaches the exact sequence so you don't sink capital into a van that doesn't match the contracts you ultimately win.

Question 8

How long does it take to complete the course?

Accepted Answer

Module 1 is available immediately and takes most students a few hours. The remaining modules are being released on a rolling schedule, and you have lifetime access, so you can work through each one as it lands and revisit anything as you launch.

Question 9

How do I access the course?

Accepted Answer

You get instant access after checkout and can work through the material from any device at your own pace. Module 1 is available now, and the remaining modules unlock as they're released.

Question 10

What if I get stuck or have questions?

Accepted Answer

You get direct email access to me, and I typically respond within 24 hours on business days. If you want dedicated one-on-one time, the Strategy Call and Done-For-You tiers are built for that.

Question 11

Is there a refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Because this is a digital product with immediate access to proprietary templates and training, all sales are final. If you're not sure it's the right fit, book a Strategy Call first — that's exactly what it's for.
